      It used to be a great company to work with ... but not anymore

      Pros

      new project Ansible use most of the latest technologies.A lot of good & new technologies to learn. The super mean CEO just got fire, hurray !!!

      Cons

      salary freeze & promotion freeze for 5 years in whole company. no Overtime pay but a lot of OT require. Company keep make $ but not willing to pay bonus because the top management always set a non-reachable target so always said "missing target so no bonus, no salary increase". There are lot of software developers work in this company for 15 years but management still refuse to give them a senior title and keep them intermediate level. After worked for so much OT then management give employee $20 gift card to compensate ... so the hourly rate is less than $1 per hour that is much lower than developing country or cheap slave.

      Pros

      Its been a great learning experience, and I will miss the people I interact with daily. My manager was a very flexible guy, and very reasonable- best manager I have ever worked for.

      Cons

      There is a constant threat of downsizing. You can feel it in the air that the senior execs genuinely do not care about anyone, its just money- plain and simple. This place is run by a schizophrenic sinking bank. This last round of layoff's, I didn't survive. It seems that whoever was in charge of making these decisions, really just threw darts at a board instead of actively thinking what is best for the company. Not calling myself extremely important, but our team was short staffed as it was... What a bunch of numbskulls running this place!!
