Great projects for great clients

- Great colleagues who are smart and fun - Interesting and meaningful projects - Culture that strives to allow you to be more of a whole person - High degree of transparency into partnership decisions

Cons

- Strategy practice is still building its brand in the marketplace; BBM continue to hold the upper hand...until clients have encountered S&, that is! - S& integration of various PwC strategy components is complex and time will tell the degree of success realized

Opportunity to focus on an area that you are passionate about Not quite as much "up or out" pressure Strong ability to be yourself and market/sell your strengths

Cons

Almost the entire experience is based on the projects - very little training or events that build culture A bit of an inferiority complex compared to other "strategy" consulting firms; and that did not necessarily go away after the acquisition by PwC Not as strong of a brand to have on the resume, unless with alumni from Strategy&/PwC

Intense and compromised

Pros

Started off as a typical, super intense, up/out consulting model. Competitive and competent, with some seriously intelligent and capable partners. Great learning everyday, but intense in all the expected ways of consulting life.

Cons

After the merger, the quality of partners and team members were lowered a bit. Still solid work from my experience, but not without its challenges against merging of cultures, leadership, standards, and approaches in work and philosophies.
