Sygma doesn’t pay living wages

Pros

They are remote hybrid with only 2 days in the office a month (this is a pro and con). I got a comfy blanket once from them. Also a pen and a coffee cup.

Cons

They do not fairly pay their employees and when asked for a wage increase to keep up with the cost of living I was denied. The vacation time you get sucks pretty bad. They don’t give employees any incentives to work harder. The hybrid remote is pretty dumb and inconvenient. Fully remote would make employees happier. The hybrid model makes it just do we can’t move and we have to stay close to the office.

Pros

You have some sort of income and health insurance.

Cons

Everything! The trucks are poorly maintained, the garage barely fixes the trucks or does correct preventive maintenance, you will be broken down on the side of the road Alot! Trucks are also filthy, never cleaned, summer time they rot and stink with bug colony infestations. The mattresses are stained, disgusting and used condoms have been found on, around and under the sleeper mattresses. Trucks can be written up, but no one will clean them and no one will be held responsible for the mess/filth. Dispatchers/ Transportation Clerks are made to be the bad guys when it is the Transportation Supervisors who are pushing them and threatening with write ups if not listened to. They push the drivers to run off the clock as well as alter their hours of service to get the job done. If something goes wrong while off the clock then you are fired and the supervisors will deny everything. The supervisors yell and cuss each other out in front of Managers and driver( highly unprofessional) they have also been known to cuss out other drivers and talk poorly of the driver no sooner they walk out of the office, while other drivers are still standing there. If you are broken down on the side of the road the Supervisors will take their time helping you get back on the road and act like there is nothing they can do. They will say they will call if they have a route for you to run, they WILL not call you, they will wait till you are late or don't "Show up" and will write you up or threaten to fire you for being a No Call No Show when they did not properly notify you. Over all bad company, sleazy Supervisors they do not care for the drivers, you are another number and replaceable.

Pros

Used to be benefits, but constantly cutting benefits, at one time this was a great place to work before changes in the management structure were made.

Cons

They do not promote from within, instead they will publically belittle in order to keep own employees, while hiring from outside for upper positions.
