Pros

Good place to start for recent college graduates, compensation and benefits are acceptable, good office location near Tuttle Crossing Mall very close to I-270, plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

Cons

Poor training, lack of career paths/opportunities, lack of inter-department cooperation, outdated technology, unprofessional environment, promotions and terminations are based on personal favoritism instead of experience, skills, or abilities. High employee turnover.

Ok job, not a career.

Pros

Pay is good if you are willing to work. 2 drivers so you are not alone during overnight deliveries. 401k is decent. Good job if you want to make a quick buck, but definitely not a career.

Cons

Management is horrible. The only way to complete the routes in the times they give you is to work out of the berth, which violates DOT regulations. Not much home time, management will flat out lie to get you to come in and run extra routes- Example: You get a phone call saying you have 4 stops in GA, when you arrive, you notice they "forget" to tell you that you also have a stop in Montgomery, AL. Backhauls are also a big issue. After working for 20-28 hours, you have to go sit at a backhaul for 5-7 hours. And backhaul pay is only 40 dollars.

Pros

The pro? I learned a lot. I learned a lot about supply chain, purchasing, expediting, logistics, demand planning, etc.

Cons

The cons? The list is long. I stayed way too long in a terribly toxic office with micro managers, enablers of leaders who are inept, allowance of vicious behaviors towards subordinates, zero accountability if you are a favorite and believe me, there are favorites. The best thing I did was take all that I learned and get out of there. If you are applying for a corporate office position, please go into this knowing that they will screw over and over again over pay and time off. There is way better out there. Know your worth!
