Pros

Riot deeply cares about two things: players and its employees. I've been here over 15 years, have held multiple roles on multiple teams. Riot is special. We are gamers and care deeply about making games that resonate with our core audiences of each genre. This means carefully putting together a team that understands and loves the genre, too, and then focusing on their needs and feedback. We don't always get it right the first time, but we will work on it until we do.

Cons

Riot is no longer the 40 people start up I joined - and with that comes change. While most of it is positive, it doesn't have a small start up feel (unless you're on a small R&D team). So, if that's something you're looking for - Riot might not be it.
