Pros

Quick promotions Great name on your resume (recruiters are constantly calling) Better maternity leave policy than any of its competitors

Cons

Poor work/life balance Used to be work hard, play hard. Now or is just work hard. No training or onboarding Too focused on cost cutting Too much time wasted on internal reporting and building ppt decks instead of executing strategies The company does not care about its employees. The turnover is crazy high.

Pros

As a business undergoing change it’s very in need of new ideas and ways of thinking, so people capable of this and are self starters will thrive. It has all the benefits of a well established business and good career paths, salary pensions. I have seen significant new ways of thinking and the focus on great leadership and training of senior managers is high. Also one thing I love about it is everyone is from different parts of the world. Our interns and all teams get significant responsibility from day 1 with considerable autonomy.

Cons

Not a place for those who want to hide or who lack ambition. People here are positive and have a can do attitude and less forgiving for those who are lacking in these areas. E-commerce and DTC has a high number of women in the teams but the rest of the business could improve on that and is making steps to resolve so good female staff are accelerated and so RB is a good destination from that sense. The Slough office location isn’t ideal but WeWork locations are included for teams who prefer a cooler vibe and the start up environment.

Overworked and underpaid.

Pros

Close to home. People are generally nice. Positive for them you do the job of 2 or 3 people and get paid for 1/3 of what you do.

Cons

They don't respect your time. Work/life balance does not exist. Management needs to pay attention to what employees are saying. Great company with a lot of potential to be a great place to work but personally I couldn't deal with the regressive mob mentality of some of the leaders at RB that ultimately result in an overwhelming feeling of hostility that drive you to feeling undervalued, overworked, underpaid, and if you are not one of the favorites you will be treated like you don't even exist. Promotions are given to those that are liked by functional leaders and sadly for those that are deserving of recognition for their hard work, HR does not question anything-they just do.
