Pros

- Great work / life balance in R&D - Good benefits (e.g. 401k matching, summer hours, good health insurance, stock options, etc.) - Good for career starters, as experience outside of rb is entirely neglected, and recent grads are valued in the same way as experienced professionals - Great maternity leave policy

Cons

High job rotation, once you've been in your job for a day you are considered "expert" once you've been in your job for a year, they'll rotate you to do something entirely different and yes... consider you as an "expert" after a week in the new job. Not a real big surprise that nobody actually knows what he/she is doing. High density of middle managers who: - micro manage - only convey & distribute information/orders from manager +1 - do not make any decisions - will not ever (never!) challenge marketing or their own superiors - do not know their job either RB has recently introduced a couple of additional layers of "leadership", which makes the decision making process non existent All in all, rb is continuing its downward spiral...and has not hit rock bottom - YET Sub par compensation in R&D

Horrible Company Culture

Pros

Global reach of organization and diversity of talent from around the globe. Mainstay brands in majority of households

Cons

Multiple instances of people being insulted to the point of crying in meetings, constant reorganization and reprioritization of resources, managers who have zero people development and leadership skills who were promoted for their individual contributions and receive no coaching or training to learn how to lead. This place is by far the worst organization I've ever worked for and I would absolutely not recommend working here even to my least favorite person. This place is designed for people who are self-centered egotistical Type A individuals- if that's you then you'll likely love working there. But, it's a poor fit for most.

Pros

Financial compensation is attractive. In Marketing roles specifically there are opportunities to progress quickly.

Cons

Incredibly uninspiring leaders who talk about purpose-led growth but are clearly driven by their own compensation packages and shareholder returns. Terrible communication and it still feels like a boys-club where who is known and who likes who is key for career progression. Company culture is very focused on short term results no matter at what cost.
