nice colleagues, free access to training intranet

Cons

Pay is pitiful, overtime is the default expectation and HR haven’t got the first clue what peoples individual jobs are and so can’t provide adequate support. Career progression is non existent. Since the new CEO joined staff have become numbers on a chart, our individual skills and talents aren’t recognised and jobs are being outsourced to cut costs including staff who have worked for them 15 years plus.

Global footprint. SDL had nice people

Cons

No vision. Entirely focused on cost cutting. Very little diversity at the top. SDL has been one acquisition too many...and an acquisition that makes little sense beside boosting CEO's and Chairman's egos.
