Pros

One of the best reasons to work for PwC is the various people one can meet and working with so many smart people. This job is fast paced and require you to continuously learn. You do get a chance to face daily challenges and to learn about the industry. I do get a chance to work with variety of people in different levels of position. We really learn to work in a team setting. In addition, you get to work and gain many interaction with the client. I have learned and am continuing to learn to manage the time and different people.

Cons

The biggest downside of working at PwC or at any Big four is the lack of work life balance. We are expected to work long hours for low compensation. One can get lost in such a huge company and will not receive the appropriate guidance. If you really seek to move forward in your career in the company, you have to manage your path and seeking out the right people to assist you in reaching your goal. You can get easily burnt out with the long hours and not feeling appropriately compensated. If we really calculated per hour what we made, it's a complete upset.

Pros

PricewaterhouseCoopers is a strong firm in its industry. It is well respected among the business community. There are a lot of good reasons to work for this company.

Cons

There are several downsides to working at PwC. They don't seem to like to fire people that don't play well with others. Another downside is the lack of work life balance but that is kind of expected in this particular industry. I feel the main downside to working here isn't the people or how they run things its the fact that they like to pay at the 75th percentile and are constantly behind market.
