Managers held to higher standard. Performance issues of Direct Reports (CRAs) can be a negative reflection of manager. For example, a question from Senior Leadership (Director and above), for a clinical manager is "What could you have done to avoid the situation of your team member?", even when all avenues were process were expressly followed and implemented.
