      - Salaries below industry standards - P&C Insurance Industry is unstable due to climate change, which means that company performance is completely unpredictable. Therefore, salaries and bonuses are negatively affected despite employees' hard work.

      Pros

      Good people, enjoy working with majority of them. Flexible working (flex days) and occasional home working.

      Cons

      Upper management, salary levels, career progression, development. Any of the above are appalling. Whether it be no budget to train you for changing aspects of your role, dangling carrots of promotion only to never follow through with them, or even reviewing salaries to bring them in line with market value. RSA have slipped drastically over the last 5-7 years.

      The location was good, as it was easy access to the city centre through public transport and also had easy access to the M50

      Cons

      The culture was toxic and blame orientated. There were several attempts to roll out positive tools and programmes while I was there, but there was never any follow through. There was very poor training, with the attitude that new comers would be put in the deep end for sink or swim. Due to the management of the last few years, there was a huge lack of trust in the management.
