      GSK pays a very good salary; it's hard to beat. It's a European company with similar European benefits for the NA team.

      Cons

      Both the company structure and senior management inhibit business and professional growth.

      Heavily siloed IT organizations. Lack of R&D productivity over last decade has created cost pressures. IT talent located all over the globe but organization must mature to become more productive.

      The benefits are top of the line. The people are friendly. It is a good company, #2 Healthcare.

      Cons

      Due to downsizing. . . .a lot of work has been placed on individuals. Should be brought to management attentioni that the more work you place on people, the more shortcuts are going to be taken, errors are going to made and accidents will happen.
