      Pros

      FedEx Ground is a very secure company. There are also plenty of opportunities for relocation. FedEx is everywhere.

      Cons

      Ground seems to be very cheap when it comes to pay scales. It seems they try to start everyone at the bottom of the pay scale. It seems like pulling teeth to actually get a pay raise for people who truely are well above and deserving of a raise about 3%. Overtime is pretty much forbidden and is still frowned upon durring peak season. As operations management goes, don't expect to have a life around the holiday season as you will sleep at home and live your day at work, repeat this process up to 7 days a week.

      Not worth changing companies for Fedex Ground. Ground is heading in the right direction just not there yet.

      Career opportunities are plentiful at Fedex Ground if you are willing to relocate.

      Cons

      very political. You have to be a member of the 'click' to get promoted and good reviews. With Dave Rebholz and Shannon Brown coming over from Express, there has been some change but it is a slow go. Absolutely under no circumstance are you allowed to take a day off in November or December... Holidays are not recognized at all.
