Pros

They bring you in and let you see the operation at work. Give you time to see if it would be good fit and then give you an offer! Drug Test, Background Check, Proof that you completed college, Checked Past Employer Feedback...This is all good because you know the team they hirer and put together is qualified and can pull their own weight!

Cons

The process is not organized by a checklist each day. Each day I got a phone call or email about the next step in the hiring process. It took longer then I had anticipated.

As a new city driver you will get less than 8 hours a day!!!!

home daily, overtime after 8 hours, newer trucks, great benefits and paid every week. FedEx Freight seems like a great company to work for and you can make a lot of money IF you have been with the company for upteen years

Cons

SENIORITY SENIORITY SENIORITY! First starting off as a City Driver you will get less than 8 hours a day which really sucks, YOU WILL NOT MAKE GOOD MONEY FIRST STARTING OFF expect to work 6-7 hours a day, a lot of racism and favoritism from dispatch and managers, you have to work the dock just to get your full 8 hours.

Pros

Focused on people , service and profit which if successful results in bonuses for employees. Management communicates very effectively with regular pre-shift meetings and responds very well to issues presented. Company maintains equipment and is always focused on what it can do better to be successful.

Cons

Nothing bad to say. every job has down days but it is on the employee to make their day what it is.
