Pros
Compensation is good. Employee insurance and benefits are both good and extensive. Mars is a family owned international corporation and not constrained by short term investor goals.
Cons
Survival is the first order of business at Mars. Learn to work within the byzantine complexity of multiple software and company programs, involvement and not result is the criteria for success. My facility had eight managers in thrirteen years and I reported to five different department managers in six months.
