Pros

My Team Mates & a very small handful of colleagues

Cons

1. Racist Culture - Top Management is pro-Koreans and locals who thrive/ survive throw other locals under the bus and bow (literally) to the Koreans here. - Only Koreans will get promoted and recognition. - Besides Koreans from HQ, Koreans here will here locally hired Koreans - MOM should consider doing a spot-check. 2. Slave Drivers - A culture that advocates "Yes" Men only. - 1 person is expected to do 3 to 4 people's jobs - Even with Covid-19, employees are expected to come back with no social distancing measures in place - MOM should come down and visit. 3. Forget Work Life Balance - You can't even take MC or ALs cus you would still be expected to work. - Ridiculously tight deadlines and last min work being thrown at you daily. 4. A Culture of Bullying - Tons of inexperienced hires who were hired by inexperienced hires. This leads to much pushing of work and the blame game. - Bullying is tolerated, and practiced by Koreans in the company esp. Top Management. 5. Top Talents Keep Leaving - After awhile, only toxic people will stay which explains the very toxic culture.

Pros

LG used to be my dream job. 5 years ago, Every good part of LG ended. They preach all day about wellness, work life balance, and investing in their employees. And they used to do just that but not any more. Their 100% paid insurance is literally the only perk and its a trap.

Cons

They take motivated and competent individuals and shackle them with the workload of 5 or 6 people while telling them they aren't good enough, not doing enough, even though they are somehow finding a way to juggle all of the immense workload. PTO is a joke and no one respects it, they will call and ask you to work on your PTO, on weekends and at 10pm. They have no shame. The compensation is entirely below the bar even with 100% paid insurance. Promotions & Raises? Those only go to Koreans. Its gone so far down hill in the last 5 years. The culture in that office is so toxic but the job market is so restricted that you can't leave.
