Pros

Coworkers were usually fun to work with, although there's always the typical drama. You also get into a rhythm so things become second nature really fast

Cons

The general manager has zero respect for her employees or their time and consistently schedules people outside their availability. Also tends to schedule less than enough closers so we often stay hours after we are scheduled to finish closing the store. Those of us who did stay to close were typically one manager and the younger employees, often teenagers, staying until 12, 1, 2 or later just trying to close the store. Employees are also guilted into staying to close when they arent supposed to because of said poor scheduling. Along the same lines, under scheduling affects shifts as well, some of our most stressful shifts are the ones when we don't have enough people to properly run the store on our own during lunch or dinner rush.

Pros

Working at KFC has several advantages. One major benefit is the flexible scheduling, which makes it a good option for students or people with other jobs. The position is also entry-level friendly, meaning employees typically do not need prior experience to get hired. In addition, the fast-paced environment can make shifts feel shorter and more engaging. Many employees also enjoy the team atmosphere and develop friendships with their coworkers. Another advantage is the availability of employee discounts or free food during shifts, as well as the potential for advancement into shift leader or management roles.

Cons

However, there are also some disadvantages to working at KFC. The pay is often relatively low, usually close to minimum wage. The job can be physically demanding, requiring employees to stand for long periods, work in a hot kitchen, and perform tasks such as lifting and cleaning. The work environment can also be messy due to grease and food preparation. Additionally, the job can be stressful during busy hours, especially when dealing with long lines or high customer demand. Employees may also have to handle difficult or impatient customers, which can be challenging. Finally, work schedules may be inconsistent, with hours varying from week to week.
