Pros

Free meal for every shift worked. Tips are split based on hours worked and paid directly in cash. If you do very well in their system you get great bonuses. Direct interaction With upper level management.

Cons

Very hard and stressful work. I was there for a store opening and ended up pulling sixty hours in the first week. I also dropped about fifteen pounds of weight despite eating most meals there. The biggest issue that i had with the company was with store level management and their knowledge of local labor laws. Despite obvious violations and complaints from employees, there was no attempt to establish a knowledge of employment laws of my state. They also cut many hours back when business slowed and many people who were promised and hired as fulltime employees were cut back to less than twenty hours a week.

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to be successful. They have much higher standards than most places, one of the few places I'd have no problem eating at any location. They'll make sure you have everything you need to meet those standards, especially once you get to a management level. They have corporate trainers and the GM at my location was also great. I'm a GM at a different place now and my experience here left me well prepared me for that position.

Cons

Pay. That's the only reason I left, I would have stayed with the company if I could have gotten a raise and I would definitely return if they offered something comparable to what I'm making elsewhere.
