Pros

Adobe is a great technology company to work with, and besides its size, it has not forgot what "technology" truly means. You can start a project on a well-known technology, or on a very recently released one, it doesn't matter, as long as you are able to show that your choice is the best one, and be able to explain it to others. You'll be able to find a lot of help on many subjects, and most of the time, people are receptive and eager to help.

Cons

There's some politics here and there, with the usual consequences. Sometimes, some decisions are made that are purely political one, from a someone high enough in the chain of command, so that "it cannot be discussed". Also, recently, Adobe has decided to shift more on the "business" side than on the "tech" side. It happened several times in its history, but most of the moves were technological moves that fit well in the business world (and the other way around). However, some very recent moves are done with solely the business in mind, and have a direct negative impact on the technology itself.

Pros

The pay and benefits and that is it.

Cons

I have never worked anywhere that cared less about the humanity of its employees. Perhaps this is standard for tech - but the way I've been treated makes me feel like they are either looking for an excuse to fire me or want me to quit, and I've been here less than a year. Everyone is paranoid and gatekeeps information so they feel job security but then lashes out when you don't know enough to help them. This company needs to change everything if it wants to survive.
