Pros

Ernst & Young is a really well known firm with a strong quality reputation. The knowledge of the people working at EY is really the biggest force and you can feel that the partners of the firm understand the importance of a well work/life balance.

Cons

Working in one of the big four accounting firm seems to mean working a lot of hours. Unfortunately the efforts are sometimes not recognize by the senior managers. The focus is so oriented on the work to do that the recognition and feedback is neglected.

Pros

Very knowledgable professionals and the knowledge sharing is great. You experience auditing large clients and get great experience with your engagement teams. For the most part EY is very flexible and does foster an inclusive environment.

Cons

To truly excel at this firm, you alter your work-life balance towards more work than to life. Expectations are high and one must put forth a lot of effort, even at the expense at one's personal life to succeed greatly.
