Pros

Co workers are great. Decent benefits.

Cons

Upper management will let you know really fast you are replacable, and they will. Its a "good ole boys" club. Soon as you fall out, youre gone, and you will be. Just about everybody at DriveTime is looking for another job. Also, you will feel like a crook the way you do the customers, shameful! Middle management gets treated like crap! They talk about work life balance, your balance will be about 5 bucks an hour when you figure out how much time you are spending at this palce.

Pros

Good benefits and title work experience, you also learn to interface with various levels of upper-management ...

Cons

It is funny how all these positive reviews from the home oofice are popping up. Anytime you have a CEO who has the attitude that eveyone can be replaced, RUN. The hours are too long and unhealthy. Upper management are always the last to arrive and the first to leave. HR is extremely unprofessional, especially in Florida (the RTM NEVER returns calls and when you report hostility, she blames it on you). The market managers always take the side of the sale associates, you talk to more voicemails than actual people. When it snowed, the regionals, who were at home, threatened to write everyone up. The dealerships keep popping up but they lack proper leadership and are severly understaffed. You will be underpaid although they think they are doing us a favor. Do NOT ask for feedback because you will not get it if it means helping you get to the next level. They rely on too much gossip, especially the Florida RTM ...

Pros

Great co-workers that want to do a good job. Talented developers that are frustrated with the lack of management and cronieism. Use to be a company on the bleading edge of technology, now we are a company that is struggling to patch the existing applicaitons we have.

Cons

Absolutely no leadership in IT or from Senior Management. The management in IT is extreamely ineffective and lacks any ability to provide direction and priorities. Co-workers are frustrated and looking for opportunites outside the company.
