Pros

Great company to work for, all areas aligned with the company vision and set clear direction via the companies 5 key metrics. Some fantastic people working for the company across all channels, and a real can do attitude about the place.

Cons

The IT infrastructure could do with a revamp.

Pros

Vendors can come and train staff (with prior approval of CPW to ensure fairness/ cross brand awareness). Internal training is pushed hard at meetings and lets you progress your knowledge. A great mix of people in the store I was based.

Cons

Management seem fixated on numbers, when in practice, it would be more beneficial to focus on the customer experience and getting them the right phone/ tariff/ accessories.

Working for Currys/PC World will help you develop great customer service, sales techniques and strategies for products and services, tech knowledge, handling transactions both cash and credit applications. Overall a very good experience to start your career.

Cons

There might be some pressure from managers if you do not hit a sales target, but nothing major.
