Pros

Some flexibility in schedule $100 month in gas If you enjoy running around and gathering clients (including some cold calling), meeting clients, establishing relationships, this is a good job. You must like driving, because you can have one apt. at 10am in one city, and another apt at 5:00pm 40 miles from there. Take this job if you enjoy meeting people, need some flexibility, enjoy driving and sales calls. do not take this job expecting to make more than 25K per year (not including expenses-wear and tear on your own car).

Cons

Spend much more than $100 in gas per month Zero base salary.. Never know when I will make money. Sales are fun, however, this job is not reliable in terms of supporting a family, as the commission only is not predictable. I work Very very hard to gain clients.. and although I enjoy this aspect, and driving around looking at the scenery, having a little flexibility in my schedule to run to the grocery store, or something.. enjoy meeting people etc, it is a lot of work, and you have to like this type of career. I would only recommend this job to someone who does not have a family to support.

Pros

Only pro is that if you have no experience you will get hired anyway because the wage is so bad people with experience wouldn’t even apply, so they hire anyone.

Cons

Micromanagement all the way! Managers have no manners and honestly none of them should be managing anyone, they are rude, unprofessional and can’t be told they’re wrong. You can’t get your job done because it’s affected by other departments and their managers not knowing how to do their job. You can forget about pay rise because theres never money to actually keep good employees and pay them what the market value is so they are better off with you leaving and hiring inexperienced staff for almost minimum wage. The staff turnover is crazy! Many people quit at same time and it’s never the management that’s responsible but the people themselves. People do not leave bad jobs they leave bad management!

Pros

None, this organization hires too many managers with no experience

Cons

Buying and trying to amalgamate a number of different companies without really having a clue what they are doing just leads to absolute chaos
