Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you see strength in our product offering and how the acquisitions have expanded our portfolio. We agree that clear internal communication is critical, especially around any product changes. It’s something we’ve been actively working on through more streamlined updates and better employee visibility into our roadmaps. Your feedback helps us continue to refine how we work. We invite you to send an email to internal.communication@contentsquare.com, if you'd like to discuss opportunities for improvement. Thanks for leaving a review.

Pros

Big company. Maybe too big to fail now?

Cons

Polar opposite of life at Hotjar. Corporate, meeting first, office based, hierarchical, poor internal comms, poor leadership

Thank you for your honest feedback. We recognize that the transition post-acquisition 1.5 years ago resulted in a significant shift, especially for those coming from Hotjar. Since then, we’ve worked hard to streamline processes, align ways of working, and take the best practices from Contentsquare, Hotjar, and Heap to build something stronger. While we’re still evolving, we’ve made meaningful progress in simplifying communication, reducing unnecessary hierarchy, and balancing structure with flexibility. We appreciate you sharing your perspective. Thanks for having been a part of the CSQuad.

Pros

None that matter at this point

Cons

They ruined the company after they acquired Hotjar and Heap. The CEO is clearly more interested in looking "cool" than actually leading the company towards a more successful product.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We’re sorry to hear that your experience has not been optimal. The integration of Hotjar and Heap was a significant shift, and we recognize that it brought real challenges, not all of which we navigated seamlessly. It’s clear from your message that there’s a sense of disconnection and frustration, particularly around leadership and direction post-acquisition. I can assure you, feedback like yours is heard and taken seriously. We know that there is always work to be done, specifically in strengthening how we communicate, aligning on a clearer product strategy, and ensuring that our leadership shows up in ways that reflect accountability and care for our people. We appreciate your honesty and the time you took to share this. Your PBP is always available, should you want to have a discussion and to address the concerns you have shared.
