Cons

Long hours, ok pay but low as far is industry is concerned fort a Service Writer. Alot of policies that arent strictly enforced but if you break one, bye bye. Depending on managment, they are very flexiable with attendance.

Pros

Its great you get to buy wholesale cars on the cheap. They offer decent medical benefits. Don't need to be very bright to work there. So that's a plus.

Cons

Upper Management has a complex. When you buy those wholesale cars, you MUST pay Carmax a profit of at least $1000 . Carmax touts the Best 100 places to work, but it was like hell on earth.

Pros

Commission job means you can really take off and make some good money if you are able to push the numbers of cars & warranties sold each month.

Cons

Unfortunately every car & warranty sale equals the same dollar amount for respective club level, no matter the profit margin on the vehicle for the company. So you really do hit a ceiling when it comes to making some serious money.
