Pros

The office location in Mumbai is accessible. The brand name looks decent on a resume, though the internal reality is a stark contrast to the external image.

Cons

1. Technical Incompetence at the Top The leadership hierarchy (GCM 8 and above) is shockingly devoid of engineering or science backgrounds. You have individuals making high-level decisions on complex technology projects without understanding the fundamental SDLC. Their inability to grasp technical constraints leads to unrealistic deadlines and failed deliveries, for which the ground-level engineers are inevitably blamed. 2. Blatant "European First" Bias Despite being a global firm, there is a disgusting level of sycophancy toward the European teams. Management treats Indian employees as second-class citizens, prioritizing the whims and comfort of the European counterparts over local operational needs. It is clear that the Mumbai office is viewed as a "cheap labor" hub rather than a center of excellence. 3. Decades of Toxic Groupism The senior leadership has been entrenched for decades, not because of their performance, but because of their mastery of flattery and "managing up" to their masters in Europe. The culture is defined by extreme groupism and petty office politics. If you aren't part of the "inner circle" of loyalists, your career growth is non-existent. 4. Poor Treatment of Indian Staff The disparity in treatment is glaring. While European colleagues are pampered, Indian employees are subjected to toxic micro-management and a complete lack of support.
