Pros

Greatest bootcamp in journalism, period. Learn how to be a great reporter, to be faster and more accurate than just about anyone else in the game. And learn in trial by fire.

Cons

Bootcamp never ends, and this can feel like a never-ending slog of thankless grunt work. Not a lot of room for growth, union is abysmally backward, salary is almost impossible to live off of in major cities.
