Pros

It can pay fairly well. There are a lot of smart people there.

Cons

Aon is a very conservative, arrogant and stuffy culture. It's not progressive. The inflow of McKinsey consultants into Aon after Case took over brought Aon more discipline than the Ryan days, but it also brought even more arrogance and stubbornness to a culture. It's not a place that values diversity in any sense.

Pros

The US managment is very good.

Cons

Only go here if you can't find anything else...you won't learn anything new, people are very protective and cautious. The UK management is terrible and completely unsupportive. Very micro-managed environment.

Pros

Decent work environment with opportunity to excel. Extremely experienced mentors and senior leadership. Lean staff allows for good amount of responsibility fast.

Cons

As with most brokerage firms, company pays extremely well at the top and then it disipates exponentially as you move down the company.
