Quite good, but could make much more with the resources it has.
Pros
- Resources are available to work comfortably with huge amounts of data. - Lots of very good internal products and libraries. - Interesting tech stack - Opportunities to try new stuff - Dozens of extremely talented people working there - Good and healthy culture and values - Good atmosphere and vibe. - Office (Barcelona one) is new and quite nice. Big Terrace , canteen and several services. - Lots of focus on personal development plans. Easy to move both sideways and up.
Cons
- Constant reorgs, you end up caring little about the goals and organisation of the teams because they change too often. - It lacks common direction. Every sub company works in a different way, there are duplicated central teams that work in even other directions. There is no clear data governance, platform or strategy on a general level even thought each individual team has a very clear and good one at a local level. - Sometimes it feels that all the tons of good work and talent that happen there do not get reflected in the quality of the product due to that lack of direction. - Culture, values and general benefits and perks were a bit devaluated after the demerge with Schibsted (they are still pretty good)
