Pros

The people, the people are the reason I enjoy waking up every morning and coming into the office. In my 20 years with the company, I have met hundreds of people. People of all kinds from many nations. People who are intelligent, warm, and exciting. I am encouraged on a constant basis to grow and learn. Whether it be tuition reimbursement, seminars, trainings, or workshops, ADP helps me to be a better me. ADP has taken me around the world and the United States. ADP recognizes my talents and embraces them and encourages me to improve them. ADP is family.

Cons

The only con is missing the people who retire or move on.

Pros

The offices are new, the cafeteria is nice, the outdoor areas are beautiful for contemplating where your life went wrong and you ended up at ADP

Cons

Nonexistent leadership (literally all remote), terrible attitude from tenured peers, generic and ultimately unfocused training, no interdepartmental organization - my actual job was to fix the mistakes of other, more tenured, higher paid individuals and then train them on how to not make this mistake again. Some of these people have been here for 10+ years working from home and not understanding basic processes. Management has a very apathetic take on this because half of them are out the door with guaranteed early retirement. I saw people that gave 30 years of their life to this company only to reach the status of having a numeral II next to the title they've held for decades. All management at this location is hired from the outside, even though there are employees with 2 years of experience there onsite with advancement goals and prior work experience far exceeding their current roles. Cherry on top is that they sent me a letter after I resigned letting me know they overpaid me and I have less than a month from issuance of the letter to pay them back in full. This is a PAYROLL COMPANY. Disgraceful.

Pros

The benefits were great and I worked on a fabulous team. Great work environment.

Cons

Not enough training. Feedback was ignored. No work/ life balance. Extremely stressful and no training. Organization sells products before they are perfected and employees are properly trained on how to fix the glitches. Sometimes it felt like you were being held hostage in a department because so many people were quitting and they couldn't afford to let you go. There is also salary caps when you move departments but someone coming in from the outside will make way more than what you make.
