YOUR ROLE :
You will join the FiPP Department (Finance Projects & Processes). This department is intended to support the Group’s Finance in its systems, process and organization development projects. You will be a part of the Data & Reporting domain, dedicated to crafting the Finance Datamart and facilitating reporting initiatives to enable well-informed decision-making.
You will work daily with the Group’s various stakeholders – being part of Finance or not – in Marseille Head Office or across the worldwide subsidiaries’ network, in the Regional Offices, in offshore shared services centers.
You will be involved in the different projects related to data & reporting initiated by the Finance departments. You will support them in structuring their vision and driving their ambition in their digital and organizational transformation journey. As part of the team, you will also participate in all initiatives enabling to reinforce the Finance community and to prepare ourselves for the future of finance.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Your main mission will be to provide data for projects requiring it (Dataviz project, Data science, AI). Driven by value creation and ability to deal with ambiguity, you will:
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business requirements for reporting initiatives.
Locate and retrieve Controlling and/ or Accounting data lineage and specifications from various ERPs systems (SAP, OEBS, Sage, …), thanks to collaboration and support from system experts
Communicate effectively with developers, providing SQL queries and explanations regarding how to handle data
Design data models for Datamarts and interfaces to feed them with data, continuously improving to reach the objective of “ease access to qualified data”.
Test Datamarts, ensure data quality and integrity, following up the implementation of monitoring tools
Develop and maintain views used for data consumption by various projects
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Professional experience of 5 years in Finance Controlling & Accounting and/or in Information Systems with proven experience in supporting data initiatives.
This key role requires an individual capable of navigating a complex IT landscape, providing operational support to the Finance community.
Strong command of data manipulation and query tools such as SQL, Python, Excel, or equivalent technologies
Good knowledge of cloud data platforms and analysis environments such as Snowflake, AWS S3, or similar solutions
Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent solutions
Solid understanding of Finance Controlling and Accounting processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Business Control
Good understanding of core data architecture layers such as data lakes, data warehouses, and datamarts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights
High level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams
Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken
