Expérience et formation:
DUT/BTS/Licence professionnelle en pharmacologie in vivo, ou biologie ou microbiologie avec l’ habilitation à l’expérimentation animale de niveau II
Expérience de 3 à 5 ans en laboratoire vivo

General mission:
Responsible for conducting in vivo studies in rodents in the field of infectious diseases, in a BSL3-type laboratory.
Responsibilities and duties:
Carry out and monitor in vivo studies on rodent models, mainly in the field of infectious diseases, to measure compound activity and validate targets and biomarkers.
Prepare reagents and consumables, order animals, and draft study plans based on instructions from the study director or project leader.
Prepare compound formulations according to established protocols, perform dosing/administration in animals, and monitor them throughout the studies.
Collect various biological matrices, tissues, or organs in accordance with study protocols.
Perform ex vivo analysis of generated samples using different microbiology and biochemistry techniques (CFU, ELISA, colorimetric assays, RT-qPCR).
Accurately write reports, protocols, and documentation related to experiments and perform statistical analyses.
Work as part of a team and develop cross-functional interactions both within and outside the In Vivo Pharmacology Infectious Disease group.
Carry out activities in compliance with applicable Quality procedures and with current health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
Contribute to or lead continuous improvement projects, potentially using lean methodology tools.
Knowledge and skills:
Proficiency in techniques related to small animal experimentation and in vitro microbiology/biology/biochemistry in the field of infection:
Handling rodents and administering substances (oral gavage, subcutaneous, intravenous, intramuscular, intraperitoneal injections)
Blood and organ sampling
Small animal surgery/anesthesia (a plus)
Microbiology and biology/biochemistry: CFU, ELISA, RNA extraction, etc.
Experience in tuberculosis, virology, and basic knowledge of immunology
Proficiency in IT tools is essential (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GraphPad Prism)
Good written and oral communication skills in French
English: at least professional level (reading/writing/speaking)
Ability to work in a team and organize daily work independently
Experience and education:
DUT/BTS/Professional Bachelor's degree in in vivo pharmacology, biology, or microbiology with Level II animal experimentation certification
3 to 5 years of experience in an in vivo laboratory
