Votre mission :
As part of the expansion of its reagent and assay offering, Stilla Technologies is looking for an R&D Assistant Engineer to join its Reagents & Assay Development team. You will contribute to the development of new assays and reagents for our digital PCR systems Nio® and QX700, working across experimentation, validation, and documentation. This role offers a direct opportunity to broaden the applications of our digital PCR technology across high-impact medical fields — oncology, gene and cell therapy, infectious diseases, and more.
Working closely with the R&D, your main responsibilities will include:
Experimentation & Development
- Conduct priority R&D experiments autonomously and in line with project timelines
- Actively contribute to the development of new assays and reagents: planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
Documentation & Quality
- Prepare rigorous result reports supported by in-depth data analysis
- Document and ensure full traceability of all experiments and their outcomes
- Contribute to the drafting and updating of molecular biology laboratory protocols
Collaboration & Support
- Work cross-functionally with R&D teams to conduct troubleshooting experiments (R&D issues, customer complaints)
- Proactively propose improvement
- Report regularly on project progress to the project lead and the management.
Reporting Line
You will report directly to a project lead within the R&AD team, working in close collaboration with the R&D teams.
Salary: 30 -33KEUR/ year depending on experience
Working hours: 38.5 hours/week
Votre profil :
Education Holder of a BTS or Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
Applications from candidates holding a Master's degree, engineering degree, or PhD will not be considered for this position.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques: qPCR, dPCR, NGS
- Experience with DNA and RNA handling
- Background in PCR assay development (a plus)
