BLK BOX is a Belfast-based premium commercial gym equipment manufacturer and fit-out specialist, operating across B2B gym projects, key accounts, and ecommerce. We work with some of Europe's leading fitness operators and are now expanding rapidly into France, bringing our industry-leading quality standards and service to the French market.
As we grow our French operation, we are looking for a motivated and organised Sales Administrator to work alongside our Country Manager and help build a strong commercial foundation in France.
Role Overview
This is a pivotal support role in the early stages of BLK BOX's French expansion.
You will work closely with our Country Manager to ensure the commercial side of our French operation runs smoothly — from responding to inbound enquiries and producing quotes, to keeping our CRM up to date and supporting day-to-day administrative needs. The role suits someone who is highly organised, commercially minded, and eager to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Prepare and issue customer quotes and proposals in a timely and professional manner
- Follow up on outstanding quotes and support the sales pipeline under direction from the Country Manager
- Assist with the preparation of tender submissions and client presentations
- Coordinate with the UK head office on pricing, product availability, and order processing
- Handle inbound sales enquiries via phone and email, triaging and escalating as appropriate
CRM & Data Management
- Maintain and update the CRM system (HubSpot or equivalent) with accurate contact, account, and opportunity data
- Log all customer interactions, ensuring the pipeline is current and visible
- Generate regular reports on sales activity, pipeline health, and follow-up tasks
- Support data hygiene initiatives to ensure clean, reliable records
General Administration
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Country Manager across all commercial activities
- Assist with scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and coordinating logistics
- Support onboarding of new French clients, including documentation and account setup
- Liaise with internal teams in Belfast (sales ops, logistics, finance) on behalf of the French market
- Help coordinate attendance at French industry events and trade shows as required
About You
Essential
- Native or fluent French speaker; strong written and spoken English (all internal communications are in English)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills — professional and personable in written and verbal interactions
- Comfortable working with CRM tools and standard office software (Microsoft Office / Google Workspace)
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities
Desirable
- Previous experience in a sales support, administration, or customer service role
- Familiarity with the commercial fitness, sports equipment, or interior fit-out sector
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms
- Understanding of B2B sales processes and quote management
Internship Option
BLK BOX is open to this role being structured as a Stage (convention de stage) or Alternance for candidates currently enrolled in a relevant programme (business, commerce, sports management, or equivalent). We will work with your institution to meet all applicable requirements.
