As a Senior Customs Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:
Customs regulatory analysis & technical specifications (CH, DE, AT)
- Analyse customs processes to produce technical specifications ensuring compliance of our solutions with legal requirements.
- Produce the corresponding product documentation and specifications:
– Model data flows, document expected datasets, business rules and critical requirements, and identify any divergences with the common model implemented in our solutions.
– Design compliance test scenarios for internal acceptance testing and potential customs authority certifications.
Internal acceptance testing & quality assurance
- Execute the test scenarios developed during the analysis phase.
- Identify discrepancies or anomalies and depending on their cause:
– Communicate to the development team for correction.
– Or iterate on the analysis and documentation.
Management of customs certification phases
- Oversee administrative formalities and, in agreement with customs authorities, schedule certification slots for our solutions.
- During the free testing phase: run through all certification scenarios in full and produce a detailed anomaly report to ensure thorough preparation for the second certification phase.
- Execute the interactive certification phase with the customs authority.
Client deployment project management

- Take ownership of deployment project management from kick-off meeting through to client go-live.
- Ensure post go-live hypercare.
