Job Scope

The Senior Accountant will lead all day-to-day France finance operations (accounting for investments, accounts payable and receivables general ledger, payroll, relationship management with banks and other vendors, internal & external audit, monthly closing , payment proposal ) and coordinate finance team daily job.

The Senior Accountant will work closety with FM but also with CEO, Service Manager, Sales manager & Customer service and Marketing Manager

Le Comptable Senior supervisera l’ensemble des opérations financières quotidiennes en France (comptabilisation des investissements, comptabilité fournisseurs et clients, grand livre, paie, gestion des relations avec les banques et autres prestataires, audits internes et externes, clôtures mensuelles, propositions de paiements) et coordonnera les activités quotidiennes de l’équipe finance.

Le Comptable Senior travaillera en étroite collaboration avec la Responsable Finance, mais également avec le Directeur Général, le Responsable Service, le Responsable Commercial, le Service Client ainsi que la Responsable Marketing.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee all account (see Job Scope), ledgers. and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
Support FM for closing & audit activity.
Consistently analyse financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner (respecting the deadlines); clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
I/C reconciliations
Assist FM and controller in the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual result.
Support the FM in engaging the board's audit and finance committees around issues and trends in financial operating models and delivery.
Reporting any fluctuations and variances
Working in compliance with government regulations.
Control and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
Perform ad hoc projects as needed

Superviser l’ensemble des comptes (voir périmètre du poste), des livres comptables et des systèmes de reporting, en garantissant la conformité aux normes comptables applicables (GAAP) ainsi qu’aux exigences réglementaires.
Assister la Responsable Finance dans les activités de clôture et d’audit.
Analyser régulièrement les données financières et présenter des rapports financiers précis dans les délais impartis ; communiquer clairement les états financiers mensuels, trimestriels et annuels.
Inter-compagnies réconciliations
Assister la Responsable Finance et le contrôleur financier dans le processus annuel de budget et de planification ; administrer et revoir les plans financiers et les comparer aux résultats réels.
Soutenir la Responsable Finance dans les échanges avec les comités d’audit et finance du conseil d’administration concernant les problématiques et tendances des modèles opérationnels financiers.
Reporter toute fluctuation ou variation significative.
Travailler dans le respect des réglementations gouvernementales.
Contrôler et suivre la performance des actifs investis conformément aux politiques et directives d’investissement.
Réaliser des projets ad hoc selon les besoins.
Effectuer toute autre mission confiée.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor in finance
Five years of accounting and finance experience, ideally beginning in accounting and audit
Experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, proactive. resistant to stress. accountable Capacity to integrate in existing team and company culture
Capacity to adapt to new situations with flexibility
Resistant to change and innovation
Namely to integrate into an existing team and communicate with the management and different functions in organization

Specific competencies required

Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software (SAP, Oracle, Office, )
Strong experience with Office mainly in Excel
Language: French + English

Minimum Licence/Bachelor en finance.
Cinq années d’expérience en comptabilité et finance, idéalement avec un début de carrière en comptabilité et audit.
Expérience dans la coordination des activités d’audit et la gestion du reporting, de la comptabilité fournisseurs et clients, du grand livre, de la paie et de la comptabilisation des investissements.
Qualités personnelles : intégrité, crédibilité, proactivité, résistance au stress, sens des responsabilités.
Capacité à s’intégrer dans une équipe existante et à adhérer à la culture de l’entreprise.
Capacité d’adaptation et flexibilité face à de nouvelles situations.
Résistance au changement et à l’innovation.
Aptitude à communiquer avec la direction et les différentes fonctions de l’organisation.

Compétences spécifiques requises

Aisance avec les outils technologiques, incluant une expérience dans le choix et le déploiement de logiciels ainsi que dans la gestion des relations avec les fournisseurs de logiciels ; excellente maîtrise des logiciels comptables et de reporting (SAP, Oracle, Office, etc.).
Très bonne maîtrise du Pack Office, notamment Excel.
Langues : français et anglais.
