EDHEC Business School is recruiting a AI Research Engineer / Data Scientist (M/F). This is a full-time permanent position based on the Nice Campus.

EDHEC AI Centre

EDHEC has launched its EDHEC Generations 2050 Strategic Plan, positioning Artificial Intelligence as a key strategic priority. In this context, the EDHEC AI Centre is recruiting an AI Research Engineer / Data Scientist to support applied research and innovation at the intersection of AI, data science, education, and business.

You will work closely with faculty members, researchers, and academic and industry partners, including within the Responsible AI Consortium, of which EDHEC is a founding member.

Main Responsibilities

Conduct quantitative and qualitative research related to AI and its impact on education, professions, and organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in collaborative research and innovation projects with academic and industry partners.

• Contribute to research outputs, briefings, and stakeholder engagement activities.

• Perform horizon scanning / strategic foresight on emerging AI technologies, academic research, and policy/regulatory trends relevant to education and business.

• Carry out literature reviews relevant to AI Center research axes.

• Support the design, development and testing of AI solution metrics related to research projects.

Profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, AI in Neuroscience, Computer Science, or a related field (PhD is a plus).

• Initial experience in research using data analytics, statistics and hypothesis testing, and AI methods.

• Strong programming and data analysis skills.

• Professional fluency in English and French.

• Interest in working in a research-oriented, international environment.
