Technology Lead Interview Questions

10,597 technology lead interview questions shared by candidates

There were no technical questions. My advice is to prepare for a lot of competency questions. The following will 100% be asked: "Why investment banking?", "Why Deutsche Bank?". They will also look for examples of teamwork/leadership/usual competency stuff. The most important thing to bear in mind is interview manner - speak confidently and make a positive impression on the interviewer. Based on the positive feedback from my interviews I advise future candidates to do the following: be confident, have a solid understanding of the industry and the role you want to do and have a few different examples you can draw from.

I got lucky with the technical interview portion, not sure what they would have asked. For the case, just walk through the various steps in an IT implementation. Planning phase, see the different systems, understand the overlap, either consolidate data or create a new ERP etc. Go through design, build, different levels of testing and then go-live. Discuss user acceptance testing and making sure the business is on board for the IT implementation.

Questions were normal and nothing was out of the blue. SDLC case study was simple and was similar to the examples on deloitte website. Typical questions you can expect are about the stages in the SDLC, types and where to apply them

The interview panel gave me a situation where I am a project leader and there's a member in my team who does the work very nicely, but doesn't do it on time and is casual and shabby. His attitude is also affecting the other members. How will I handle the situation?
