There was a number of multi-layered complicated questions that required you to jot down the question and any of your answers you wanted to work out on a scribble pad they provided - all while they sat there watching you, waiting for your answer. Very nerve-wracking and not well geared to anyone who's learning style is not auditory.

Nothing was too difficult or unexpected, lots of critical thinking and attention to detail if you did not know about the issues at hand.
There wasn't a most difficult question. The phone interview questions consisted of your typical job questions. The one on one interview was all behavioral questions (tell me about a time when you didn't get along with a co-worker, tell me about a time you demonstrated leadership skills, etc.)
