I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Aug 2010
Interview
Applied at the company's website then received a call the following week. Called the phone number provided and had a phone interview. The interviewer was nice, he then informed me that i might receive an invitation for a 1:1 interview by the store manager. Indeed, i was invited for a 1:1 interview with the store manager. During the interview, i was asked 2 to 3 questions and then directed to have a drug test within 24 hours and then told to wait for up to 1 week for a feedback.

Question 1
What part of your previous experience would contribute to the job you are applying for here in the company?
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Mar 2010
Interview
Applied through their website for a new facility. Here I took the standard online tests that took about 20 minutes. After completing that, you were notified if you were wanted for an interview, a little impersonal. In the interview, it was a mass hiring event that featured two seperate one on one interviews then a group meeting with the GM. After that, the job was offered and the drug test and background screening were performed.

How in the past have you handled a conflict at your workplace.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Huntsville, AL) in Mar 2010
Interview
Applied online. Received contact to schedule interview. Typically phone call, but personal contact due to already being employed there; that also probably affected pay rate. First interview with 2 Store Managers (SM). Be familiar with job description and The Home Depot (THD) structure and values. Be prepared for case scenarios and "please describe a time when . . . ." Expect interview to last approximately an hour. All applicants are asked the same questions. Second interview with SM and District Human Resource Manager (DHRM); position answers directly to both. Lasted no more than 30 minutes.
