The Home Depot interview questions

received a phone interview from atlanta at like seven pm at night. they basically just described the job and the pay and asked me two structured questions which were 1. Describe a time you went above and beyond to get the job done. 2. Describe a time where you had to be enthusiastic in a hard situation. Then the next day I got a call from a supervisor setting up a one on one interview which consisted of 15 to 20 min structured interview in a the training room where she read off a lil booklet she wrote in the answers. A couple days later I had an interview with the store manager which was basically the same thing I went through with the front end manager except slightly more intimidating. Later that night I got a call from the front end manager telling me i was hired.

Before i had the interview, i was told to come in and take an "exam", i don't think that it's mandatory for every job at home depot but apparently it was for the lead generator position. I was given a tour of all the signs in the store and if i got the job, what it would consist of. had to make one small sign and 2 big ones. The only reason that i got the interview is because my friend kept bugging them about it, but they were in no hurry to get any interviews, they are so SLOW about everything! There were 9 questions that dealt with various situations that you have had in the past and how you dealt with them. Also, previous employment questions, for example how well you deal with angry customers.
