Voor de eerste heb je onbeperkte tijd en geen achtergrondkennis nodig. Er worden situaties geschetst met daaronder enkele mogelijke vervolgstappen. Je dient aan te geven welke je geschikt of minder geschikt vindt. De rekentoets is vrij eenvoudig maar tijd is beperkt. 16 vragen in 18 minuten, welke gaan over tabellen en grafieken. Percentages spelen een belangrijke rol.
