I applied online. I interviewed at Paychex in Oct 2024
Interview
Interview with the HR recruiter for the company. Typical tell me about your experience and maybe a couple easy prescreening questions. Then discussed why Paychex was a good company to work for. She said I'd hear back from her or a colleague in a week. I sent a thank you after the interview. A week and one day later I sent a follow up...crickets. Then a week later because someone from the company looked at my LI profile I sent another follow up. Still, one month after that initial call I have heard nothing. I wouldn't accept the position now if offered. If this is how candidates are treated I can imagine how employees are treated.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Paychex (Rochester, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
Standard. Recruiter screen, phone screen, panel with other HM. Will get a call back. Drug and background required. All in all, nothing unexpected. They are a very established and conservative company.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex (Columbus, OH) in Apr 2020
Interview
I had applied online, and then was reached out to by a recruiter. He was professional but conservative and slightly intense in his questioning. He fired off some questions, it was a fairly short phone interview. He let me know I would likely be "benched" and pursued for small business sales. I was never then reached out to. This was during Covid.
