Interview
I had a telephone interview with the recruiter then three face to face interviews with at least two people. During the interviews they focused more on experience. After the final interview I was scheduled to get drug tested. I passed the drug test then there was a background check done. After the results from the drug test and background came back I was offered a position with the company.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex
Interview
Interview process consisted of 2 interviews and one shadowing session. Interview questions were pretty standard STAR structure. I interviewed in person with one supervisor while one other was on a video call.

Question 1
Describe a time when you made a mistake and how you handled it
I had two interviews. First one was with one manager and the second was with two other managers. The interview s lasted about 30 minutes each. They asked about my payroll background and several questions that started out with, "tell me about a time..."
Very simple. A round table interview with scenario-based questions. They ask mostly about previous interactions with co-workers as well as customers. It is a customer service job and you are dealing with payroll which can get very overwhelming
