The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Jan 2011
Interview
The interviewer had the same tone all the time, so you don't get an impression of well you're doing. The first question was "what do you like to do besides working with computers?". Unbelievably, he was very interested in why I like to study Jazz music. He asked me to compare Jazz to Rock music. Very unexpected.
The interview took one hour and twenty minutes.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
He asked me about the sizes of int, short, long.
He asked about IDT (interrupt descriptor table) and what the processor does when an exception is triggered.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Jan 2024
Interview
3 round of interview that lasts for 30 minutes. Introduction of company and then introduction about yourself. Technical Skills Test. Problem-Solving Skills Test. Interviewers are all very nice people. Its a shame i didn't get the job but I wasn't prepared, so what do i expect. It was a great experience indeed.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at NVIDIA
Interview
Standard HR screen and coding question after an initial Hackerrank problem. Was asked some questions about operating system concepts as well. Wasn't particularly difficult, probably Leetcode Easy/Medium. I found it very stress-free and focused on what I was good at!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is the difference between kernel mode and user mode?
2 Interviews (Behavioral with Manager + Technical with Engineer). No coding challenge. Recruiter reached out after I applied online. The process was pretty quick overall (< 3 weeks in total I think).
