One month after filling a resume online I received an email requesting answers to five questions about position specific areas. A few days later I received a phone call from a HR Generalist who asked about certain job experiences of former employers of mine. Two to three weeks later I received an email requesting I come to Houston for an interview and attached job application and background forms to fill out and return if I was still interested in employment with KBR. The trip and lodging were paid for. I had a short initial interview with the person who had emailed me and then a more extensive interview with the next three people up the food chain in HR. The interview concluded with an expression of interest and a promise of future contact from their office. A week later I received an email offering employment and a date to report to Houston for two weeks of processing including standard paperwork for beginning employment, several classes, and a must pass physical. Upon successful completion I deployed to Iraq.
