I applied online. I interviewed at Infosys (Bengaluru) in Jun 2022
Interview
The interview consisted of 3 rounds, 2 technical and 1 HR round.
1st round -> The interviewer was so polite and heard all the details about my previous experience. Asked a few scenario-based questions. Generally, on Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, and even asked me to write a basic Python and ShellScript coding. It was very smooth.
2nd round -> This is where the issue started, the 2nd interview with the Delivery head was rescheduled not once or twice but thrice. After all the rescheduling was done, I had an interview with the "so-called busy" delivery head. Started with the basic self-intro and tools in DevOps I have hands-on in. Asked why I wanted to work with Infosys. His behavior was kind of arrogant and rude.
At the end of both interviews, I could see the interviewers were satisfied with the answers I provided.
3rd round -> After all the interviews, HR called and informed me that they would not be able to process my resume, coz of the budget issue.
Advice to management: At the initial moment of screening, if you can't process the candidature due to budget constraints, kindly inform the same to candidates, rather than wasting their time.
