I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at IBM (Dehradun) in Nov 2015
Interview
The interview mainly consists HR questions and projects and trainings in your resume. So be up to date with your resume and make sure you know everything about it. They also focus on your extra curriculars so if you've written something in it, make sure you know everything about a particular thing. Don't worry they don't reject a lot of people in the interview round.

Interview
There were 3 rounds.
1st round- aptitude divided in two modules, 1st module had number series questions which were a little difficult to decode in the beginning but soon you get the hang of it. You have 45 seconds to answer each question and you have to answer it within the time limit after which you cannot go back to it.
second half had the normal aptitude round which had questions from time and work, TSD, word problems etc.
2nd round - was the business communication round, this checked your basic communication skills and it also had questions about different letter formats.
3rd round was the personal interview - the panellists were very supportive and and most of the interview was on what you said in the previous question. As in there was a lot of follow up questions. Be prepared for questions like
1- what were your favourite courses in engineering and the reason for it.
2- what would you do if you get a better offer
3- where do you see yourself after a certain period of time.
4- what are your major strengths and weaknesses.

Interview
I applied through campus. There was a logical reasoning test. Followed by GD and Personal interview with 2 panel members. One was from HR and another panel member was a technical person. They both were really nice.
IBM is a really nice company with strong work ethics. For people who didn't clear the last round they let them take the interview twice.
When compared to other companies IBM gave students time to have proper food between interview process.
