I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Nov 2022
Interview
The first step of the interview process is a 45 minute phone screen with a current or previous APM. I did not make it to the further rounds, but my understanding was that this phone interview would have been followed by 3-5 onsite interviews.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Google in Sep 2022
Interview
Applied online as soon as the Associate Product Manager (APM) program application opened in September 2022. I heard back after ~3 weeks and had the phone interview. After that, I had another phone interview (product question) and then 5 onsite interviews. Overall, the interview experience was positive. For all my interview prep, I relied on Product Alliance, which helped a lot with my structure and what to focus on during each interview. One of the questions I was asked came directly from PA question bank, which was super helpful.
