      Product Marketing Manager Interview

      Oct 24, 2017
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ENGIE in Oct 2017

      Interview

I applied online, and a few days later I got an unpersonalized, apparently mass email telling me that I had to do a one-way, recorded video interview as a next step. I would've been happy to do a regular video interview via Skype or something like that, but this was completely one-sided - no chance for me to ask them any questions. If I had been a new grad applying for an entry-level job I probably would have done it, but I have over 10 years of experience in my field, and honestly it just seemed kind of insulting. Needless to say I did not proceed with the process. Figured any company that couldn't be bothered to have a human being call me for a phone screen probably didn't have a culture that was going to work for me.
